Comments: needs work

Dear Dakota,
This is an amazing photo. When I first caught it out of the corner of my eye, I thought it was a desert landscape from the Southwest, maybe at dusk, or sunset. Even now, looking at it directly, that is what it feels like to me. So evocative. Thank you for the flowing blog-river of visual and poetic beauty. Your devoted fan. Mrs. W

Oh Mrs. W., I love the image of a "flowing blog-river". I shall use it as inspiration.

I think the color of the paint flavors the shot Southwestern -- also those deep shadows that make you think a hot sun is somehow involved.

I am most pleased to have a devoted fan. Especially one like you. D
